and the light of the sea.

Patrice Gahinet trained with Alain Le Cam, the famous chef of La Forestière in Landévant, between Lorient and Vannes. After 4 years at his side, he joined Jean-Paul Lacombe, the renowned chef of Léon de Lyon, which has 2 Michelin stars. After several training courses with Michelin-starred chefs in Lyon, he returned to Brittany.

In March 1987, he established himself at the Avel Vor with his sister Catherine. Together, they transformed the restaurant and developed its reputation. In 2005, the restaurant was listed in the Michelin Guide. In 2007, it was awarded a star: a proud chapter in a fantastic family story.
The Michelin-starred restaurant is an unmissable stop when visiting the Morbihan.
